Keynote Speech: The POW! of Positive Practical Parenting … Help your children develop good character, attitude and behavior. Gear up your attitude for the inherent challenges and rewards of positive parenting. To kick off Parent University, Dr. Adolph Brown III shares how young children model themselves based on what they see and hear. Children can become mirror images of their parents. Ask yourself if that’s what you want for your child.
Possessing limitless energy and vitality, Dr. Brown (aka “Doc Attitude”) overcame a childhood of extreme poverty and violence, welfare, fatherlessness, first generation high school and college graduate, and a single-mother led
household to become a popular media personality, a noted author, award-winning educator, trained anthropologist and psychologist, columnist, business consultant/coach, sought-after motivational speaker, husband, and father of seven. He grew up in Hampton Roads, earned multiple degrees from the College of William & Mary, and is currently on a writing sabbatical from Hampton University where he is a tenured professor, academic dean of the graduate college, and chair of the psychology/education department.
